[X-Plane 11] VIVID SKY: ATEMRAUBENDE HIMMEL | FREE Plugin [German]

Moin moin, welcome pilots on board,
Passengers and whatever Boarding has sneaked. Today I want you a wonderful plugin
Imagine that X-Plane on a brand new Level raises. It is named “Vivid Sky” and became
provided by SmC12. With the plugin we get an improved
Sunrise and sunset with super realistic atmospheric dispersion. We also have custom sky structures,
inspired by EddieSkyPack and FSEnhancer were. The cloud presentation is optimized, which
especially overcast and cumulus clouds in detail become. Not enough: we can still choose
improved mesh calculations, defined Water movements, improved shadow details
and the typical glowing fog after sunset to install. And now comes the crown on the cockpit. The whole thing is free. So, let’s take a look. Super easy for you, located
in the video description a link, about you to this entry on X-Plane.org
arrives. The plugin is currently in the version
1.1, that can be quite another if you are watching this video. The installation should be the same. You are welcome to read the description of the
Read plugins, get the essentials I combined with this video. To download Vivid Sky, press
here on “Download this file”. Oh, if you’re still a stowaway
you have to register for free at X-Plane.org sign up, so you generally plugins and actually
Download everything else. After the download is in your download directory
this .zip file called “Vivid Sky”. I recommend this zip file in a separate
For example, I have to move folders a complete folder for all plugins
created. The zip file unpacked then in the new
Folder with a program of your choice. After unpacking, there are now five new things
in front. Four different folders and a readme file,
that you can ignore, as you this video is looking. Before we proceed with the installation,
I have to mention that “Vivid Sky “the free plugin” FlyWithLua ”
needed. I have not produced a video yet
a very good tutorial both in the video description as well as in the info card. Make a short stop there, installed
“FlyWithLua” and then comes back. After the small holding, we finally come
for installation. First open the folder “1. Vivid Sky “. Here is a folder called “Resources”,
Copy this copy with right-click or Ctrl and C. Then you navigate to your X-Plane folder. For me, this is steam, steamapps,
common, X Plane, since I XPlane on Steam have installed. Alternatively, you can also right-click
on the XPlane icon and on “file path open “button. That brings the same result. Now that you are in your XPlane folder,
Add the copied resources folder Right-click Paste or Ctrl and V again
one. You will be asked if you will replace the files
I want what you confirm. Jo, dat wars. At least with the standard version of Vivid
Sky. Now you can start X-Plane and the beautiful ones
marvel at the new sky. But you will find that the water,
the shadows and especially the fog somehow not really rock yet. But we still have three other folders. So we go back to the place,
where we initially unpacked Vivid Sky. Now to the water and the other corrections
to install, we act the same way with the first folder. We open it, copy the Resources folder
and paste it into the XPlane folder. You do that with the folder “2. Vivid Water “and” 3. Vivid Tweaks “. That works with the fourth folder though
not so easy. We just open it. Here is a folder, a glsl file
and again a readme, but this time you should read. This tells you that the fog
Corrections are not from SmC12, but from ChinNoobonic. In addition, the readme points out that
through the improved fog the transitions during sunrise and sunset no longer
be shown as fluent. That’s a side effect that you put up with
if you have a better fog display want to have. Personally, I do not think that’s so bad
because the fog really offers the Vivid Sky is extraordinary, but if you are not
want to foresee a smooth transition, you should keep your hands off this folder. To install the fog,
copied the glsl file with right-click copy or Ctrl and C. Then you navigate back to your XPlane
Folder, then Resources, shaders. Here you add the file with right-click paste
or Ctrl V. Then navigate back to the XPlane folder
back and opens the folder “Output”. Here you have to delete the shadercache,
so that the fog is taken over correctly. Do not worry XPlane will write next time
Restart this folder. Now you can close all folders, because
You are completely finished and can be with the next Launch of XPlane Vivid Sky in full
enjoy. That’s it for this video. If you liked the little flight, let it go
but a thumbs up before debating and / or a subscription, so you do not have a connecting flight
missed more. I thank you very much for watching
and I look forward to seeing you soon Welcome to board.
